About me

Hi, I’m Kevan.
People first.
Technology second.

Honest advice. Practical help. Personal service.

I bring over 30 years of customer service experience and over 30 years of IT and tech knowledge to helping people feel more comfortable with their technology. To me, good service starts with listening, treating people with respect, and explaining things in a way that makes sense.

I’m building Tech Handyman around honesty and integrity. That means being straightforward about what you need, what you don’t, and what I can realistically help with. Whether we’re sorting out a Wi-Fi problem or choosing your next computer, my aim is to find a practical solution that fits your needs and budget.

Tech Handyman is local, based in Forked River, NJ. When you reach out, you’re connecting directly with me—no call center routing or being put on hold over and over. If I’m helping another customer, leave a message and I’ll get back to you personally.

You deserve patient, personal help without pressure or confusing jargon. I’ll take the time to answer your questions, explain your options, and help you feel confident about the next step.

A few good questions

Before we connect.

What if I don’t know what the problem is?

That’s a perfectly good place to start. Describe what you expected to happen and what happened instead. The device name or model can help, but it isn’t required to ask.

How much will it cost?

Pricing depends on the issue and the work involved. Send a description so we can discuss the scope and cost before scheduling. There are no published rates yet.

Can you install my smart doorbell?

Share the doorbell model and whether you have an existing doorbell. Compatibility and installation requirements need to be checked first. Work that requires a licensed electrician should be handled by one.

What should I include in my request?

Your name, an email address or phone number, the service address, and a short description of the problem or work you’d like done. Please don’t send passwords, account codes, payment information, or other sensitive details.
